I'm having trouble with how my homunculus is gaining experience. It is currently level 42, so to reach the next level, it needs 372510 exp points. I'm trying to level it at leaf cat, which gives 6060 job experience each. According to my calculation, the homunculus needs to kill ~62 leaf cats to gain one level. I'm checking its statistic window and for each kill, it only gains .2% (which is the round up figure if you divide 6060 by 372510). Am I missing something or is this a bug?
It goes by base experience, not job.
Wait, what? So it takes your job experience, but the experience it gains is from the base experience? If this is true, it makes no sense.
The amount of experience the homunculus gains is only by base experience. Job experience is not rewarded to the homunculus or the Alchemist/Creator.
So, disregard the job experience that a monster gives, go by the base experience.
Homunculus tax your job experience, but it need base experience to lvl up. So its best to lvl on low job experience monster, since the tax wont hurt and your homunculus will have full benefit.
Yeah I know, I tried Leaf Cats too, and the Yoyo/Smokie were giving more exp XD
