so, my dear husband totally forgot to get his mage platinum skill, energy coat, before he turned wizard, though I take 75% of the blame (I didn't remind him).
is he totally out of luck to get it without delete-restarting? :<

2nd classes can still complete the platinum skill quests. Pretty sure he just needs to meet the job level requirements.

once you go 2nd job the job level requirements are removed. You can do it at any time, just go talk to the npc.
SOMETIMES the SVN makes stupid changes to the quests that makes them not work til you hit the jlvl requirement.
Yeah, you can still get the platinum skills as 2nd job, it's no problem
I think only 1 of the swordy skill is scripted dumb like Rhino said and requires the job level even as knight/crus.
yeah, sorry, dunno what happened when he tried the first time, but he has it now.
