I noticed my computer is running slower than normal. My CPU usage is running insanely high whenever i play hero. When I checked my process i noticed that its taking 65-75% of my CPU and my memory has been increasing... No antivirus, antispyware or other high memory using applications are running, but my usage is hovering at an average of about 90-95% all the time (sometimes,100%) and its not like that before.Im always able to run multiple programs (media player, msn, firefox, java/flash games) while RO is up with a tolerable lag.and now it looks like if i attempt to open another more program, my computer will stop responding and i have to forcely reboot my pc. Does anyone know how to solve this problem or atleast share any idea wtf is going on? if having high cpu usage/horrible amount of lag bad for my computer or could my RAM, processor or any hardware be damaged and would that have been causing the problem. Any kind of help/insights will be appreciated, thanks! Love
How much RAM do you have in the first place?
RO has always sucked up 100% of my CPU
I only have 256mb of RAM. But i can play heRO just fine before even if there are other programs running (with a 'lil lag) and average CPU usage of about 65%.now it goes 95% (even 100%) everytime i play heRO and just heRO alone.im worried Cry
Yea my guess is it's time for an upgrade in that department. I mean I have 2 GB on my computer and my task manager floats up to about 40% whenever rag is played but that's mostly because it requires a lot of resources to play.
You can still play but lower the resolution. Do Alt+ D and lower the sprite and Texture resolution until you can get an upgrade. It should run smoother but not very appealing to look at Icon_razz
Okay,i'll do that lol.. Thanks Icon_wink
hit alt+ctrl+del once and see what process is eating up all that cpu power in the task manager. I recently had the same problem and i think my 2gig's of ram and duel core cpu should be more than enough to run hero. My prob turned out to be a svchost tied to a network service that had spiraled out of control to the point my internet stopped working and would eventually lock up the whole pc untill it got finished.
