I use IE7 but only because I've been busy/lazy and haven't even looked in on another. It works "alright".. but I'd like to try another, especially since some things won't open with it! I thought about Firefox, that seems to be really popular. So the question is what web browser do you use, and why? It's a pretty simple question. Icon_mrgreen

Edit: Thank you Aki for adding the poll. Kissy
IE 5-7 are the base exlorers that many people use. Its stable but will kill alot of stuff too. IE 8 is in beta and isn't supported by a lot of places. It also has a hidden browsing mode that doesnt' record browsing history.

For Fox 2 is very stable and is on par with IE although some sites script exclusively for IE. Fire Fox 3 is still in beta and isn't as reliable as fire fox 2. Fire Fox also allows you to clear personal data at the end when you close your last Fire fox browser.

Google Chrome has a "cool" feel to it but diesn't support flash player completely so its alittle buggy. Its drag and drop windows make it more convient then any other broswer. It also has "incognito" mode which doesn't record your browsing history.

Apple's Safari... you've got me on that one. I use IE at home since its convient and pre-installed XD at work I use all four. Chrome for sites I don't want recorded. FireFox for flash applications. IE for work related material. Safari just for the heck of an explorer.
I use FireFox all the time, IE just failed me for 5 years u_u
Added a poll, if I forgot a popular browser just tell me Lucky Day.

xD
i have never had flash problems with chrome.

might as well use chrome.
its the best.
if you dont think so, everyone will be using it soon anyway Icon_smile.
think of it like how vista ended up Icon_wink

yay google.
Firefox on pc and Safari on ipod touch.
eep user error.??I checked off Firefox, but failed to check of IE7 (that's what I use at work.)

I recommend firefox over IE.??the problem with IE is that the layout of all the toolbars and menus and whatnot at the top is...clumsy, and there's a lot of wasted space.??firefox's is much better laid out.

I only use IE at work because I have to. Icon_cry
you forgot IE 5 and IE 8 Aki. And there are two versions of Fire Fox avalible, Fire Fox 2 and Fire Fox 3.

All it needs is a different plugin.

Chrome is just a cannibalisation of other browsers.
*points to Chrome's speed-dial, then to Opera's.*

I use Opera. IE... ugh. Never use IE. XD
I also have crashed FireFox too many times to be happy with it.
....And I love my speed dial.
I use firefox for the pure reason that I'm too lazy to re-bookmark everything if I use a new browser XD;
