He speaks the truth!
Err ignore the gay ads I guess? I'd copy paste the article but there are pictures and they help explain things a lot. Open at your own risk I guess.
What the hell? Log on sometime, noob.
I'll read the article when I get home, don't think work will let me open it (and if they did, my co-workers would be a little confused about the gay ads - I'll pass for now).

You're just jealous Albus married Binns and not you. Kohana is just your rebound.
That was an interesting read, I must say. Cracked articles are generally full of win, and this was no exception. He makes a lot of good points.
I suggest checking out their "Monkeysphere" article sometime, if you haven't already. Not gaming related, but certainly interesting. I'd link to it, but I don't want to hijack your thread. =P
This guy is really hilarious, and I agree with a lot of his points. But half of them are actually half-witted and biased. If he actually knew how much coding line it actually takes write in the "jumping" function into a game, he wouldn't be crying about it. In fact, if he even half-knew how hard making a game was, half of those points wouldn't be on there.
And he seems to have missed something in there: DEADLINES. They don't give you eternity to make a game. You either have to ship with what you've got when the date comes or get down on your knees and beg for a little bit extra time for finish up the game. For the most part, once a publisher sets a release date, they don't go back on it, and because of that, most devs have to cut stuff out to make the game playable, otherwise you'd be using a bugged skill, or looking at a broken multiplayer map.
okay i read it now
hilarious~
i'm actually playing thru half life 2 right now
