This is quite simply an amazing piece of work. To summarize it briefly, it's a horror/romance out of Sweeden (yes it's subtitled). While it is a vampire movie, drawing comparisons against this and Twilight would be an insult. This is far darker when compared to Twilight and the romance element of the film isn't as sappy. It has received rave reviews all round, scoring 97% on rottentomatoes. Note that the film starts a little slowly, but does build up as it progresses. Personally, I'd suggest watching this film without reading too much into the storyline. That being said I'll leave it up to you to read up more about it.
