Droite is the son of a wealthy Einbroch merchant, and a member of the Van Houten family of scientists, who own a company based in Einbroch which manufactures medical supplies and pharmaceuticals. Droite had a twin sister, named Droite, who died during her birth, or so Droite, originally named Noel, believes. He instead, was raised as a girl because the company was famous for being female owned, and as the sole member of the direct line of ownership, Droite was disguised as a female and assumed his sisters identity, and completely forgot his own. Due to much surgery and medicine, Droite has the body of the female, but the gender of a male. His face even underwent minor surgery to completely resemble a female, as well, to ensure that no one would doubt the legitimacy of his assumed identity. Droite spent the early years of his life locked away in a mansion outside of Lutie, and gained a fondness for a special type of flowers that could only grow in permafrost, and would shine with the same brightness of the white snow; these flowers, however, quickly crystallized after blooming, and shattered into powdery snow. He became extremely fascinated with these processes. It was then that Droite's mother decided to enroll Droite at the Academy of Magic in Geffen, where Droite took his training very seriously. He studied as hard as possible, and had his own private room to ensure that his gender wasn't revealed.
