RE: Riddle Event!! XIII (March 23rd 2006) - GM-Pandora - 03-27-2006 14th Riddle, Monday March 27th 2006 at 16:00 (4 PM) (EST) "My developpement might seem peculiar to you, since with me the birth arrives before the pregnancy, adulthood before childhood, running before walking, homework before teaching and even death before life. But my constitution is logical, and is even prior to logic itself. what am I?" RE: Riddle Event!! XIV (March 27th 2006) - GM-Pandora - 03-28-2006 The answer was: A dictionary! It's in alphabetical order! Birth, which starts with a B, comes before Pregnancy, starting with a P, same with all the other words. Only 1 winner! Congrats to Cream RE: Riddle Event!! XIV (March 27th 2006) - GM-Pandora - 05-15-2006 Due to rollback we lost the last riddle. Which was: Only some individuals have this, mostly by choice. It's on you, but it doesn't add to your weight. Sometimes it's added on a heartbeat, but you cannot remove it as you see fit. It can hurt you and your wallet too. People or society might look at you differently, for better or for worst. Anyone honestly remember who the winners were? RE: Riddle Event!! XIV (March 27th 2006) - tickyhead - 05-15-2006 I was one! I know that much.... RE: Riddle Event!! XIV (March 27th 2006) - GM-Pandora - 05-16-2006 Riddle number 16 ~ Mai 16th 2006 at 11:30 AM Another multiple-word riddle. Find each word, then combine them together by taking 1 letter from each word (the one in brakets [_]) to form a final word, for your answer, send the 7 words as well as the final one. _ _ _ _ [_] _ _ _ (It's a fun game but also a sad reality of the capitalist societies.) _ [_] _ _ (Furry feline, bigger than a house cat, but smaller than the king of the animal kingdom.) _ _ _ _ _ [_] _ (Easily recognized by sharp teeth and pale looking appearance.) [_] _ _ _ _ _ (Goddess of war.) _ _ _ _ _ [_] (Patterns of duration which are phenomenally present in a lot of areas, specially in music.) _ [_] _ _ _ (It is by far the top best-seller book of all times.) _ _ _ _ [_] _ _ _ (Concept, sometimes relating to afterlife, which is found in many religions or spiritual philosophies.) What does that spell, I wonder? Dont forget to send all the words as the answer, and put your ingame name and "Riddle 16" as the title of your PM. Enjoy! ^_^ RE: Riddle Event!! XVI (May 16th 2006) - Mrmeow x_X - 05-17-2006 Wasn't Athena the goddes of wisdom? RE: Riddle Event!! XVI (May 16th 2006) - GM-Pandora - 05-17-2006 Most gods and godesses had more than one circle of influence. I'd say it's rather known that Athena was the goddess of war, she is usually represented carrying a lance and wearing a battle helmet and shield. Which does not exclude that she may also have been goddess of wisdom, and goddess of the home too I think. |
