Yes we have the Light VS Dark Allegiance system, you can register for either side in Prontera by the Tool Shop.

heRO's light vs. dark is more... order vs. chaos
Order strives to give equality to all. The strong and weak are both treated the same and they're generally OCD about order and stuff.
Chaos strives to give status to only the ones who claw their ways up and work hard, causing destruction along the way. The strong get the power and rule over the weak.
That's the roleplay standpoint, anyways. Everyone joins Light because the wings are cooler and their side wins the mass PvP battles in ToH all the time.

And dark used to be on winning streaks before everyone wanted those feathery wings... Go for the leathery ones, demonic look is always cooler.
