It's no secret I dislike woe. I think it's overhyped and causes too much stupid drama. Yet I reject this proposal, because guild dungeons are at least one-third the draw of woe. Much as I'd love to play in new places, if we take out the benefits, woe just becomes a pvp room with skill/damage/item nerfs.

Also, if you realllly want in, either go WoE, or offer to pay a WoE guild for them to invite you to their guild for a tiny while to access the dungeon.

As others have mentioned, this is a woe feature, and I wouldn't feel right removing the little incentive it provides, however small it may be, for people to woe.
The only thing I would consider considering (very hypothetical), is if we had 1 castle per town with dungeon exclusive to a guild, then the guild owning it could decide if they want to open their dungeon to the public and for how much, half the proceed would go to the guild (other half sinked), but it would be up to the guild.

Basically make it similor to when the Geffen Fountain is used to enter Geffenia? Only instead of a quest, only a member of the owning guild can open it, and the portal is only open for a short time?

I support this idea and Fires Of Heaven calls dibs on Morroc. We'd let others in though.
