Water Ball lvl 10 - Inryoku - 03-17-2011 01:08 PM

Is water ball lvl 10 possible on a stalker/rogue? I've been asking on main and some people say yes and some people say no, and no one can say they've tried. Can someone who has tested this respond?

It was possible, but not anymore.

Although, rumor has it that a stalker still has waterball 10, but I don't know any other information than that.

No it doesn't work anymore. it shows water ball lvl 10 on the skill list, but you can only cast lvl 5..

Thanks both of you!

I've heard they've only fixed this with Waterball. Draco's and Satan morroc who cast lvl 10 Heaven's drive can still be plagurized and used, to my knowledge anyway.

I have tested this with another stalker and on my own. You can indeed plagarize level 10 water ball.

You only get 24 hits out of it though as if it were level 5, but you get the 450% MATK of level 10 to calculate your damage. You can only get 24 hits due to the limitation of the water you use. Even if you're in permanent water you can't pass 24 hits because once you've used a cell of water it can't be reused for that cast. Monsters are an exception to this though.

In short, if you want improved damage and increased cast time get level 10, otherwise get level 5 or what have you.

This was tested about 2 or 3 months ago, and to my knowledge it hasn't been changed, but I'd be happy to test it again.

^ +1, though I didn't measure the actual damage, just assumed it was the same.

RE: Water Ball lvl 10 - Radolf - 03-19-2011 10:56 AM

I measured the damage at 1 int against a stalker with 1 int, so my MATK was 3~3 (No variance). Level 5 Water ball did 4 damage a hit. Level 10 did 9 damage a hit, which is fairly consistent with what the skill description says the modifier for damage. Also between all levels of water ball there was an evident difference in cast time. The higher the level of water ball you picked, the longer it took to cast it.

The number of balls will come out is same as level 5 and that will be maximum. The MATK and casting time are the difference. MATK and casting time vary on level of waterball.

The reason why you can only cast level 5 waterball is because of "not enough water" or "water is limited for level 5 waterball."

If you ask why some MVP can cast level 10 waterball like Satan Morroc, they used their natural call :D
