Question about the skill Magic strings aka A poem of bragi

So i started to become curious about how the skill exactly works here

http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=s...jid=19&g=1

as you see in the skill description of Rate my server the skill is supposed to reduce the casting time by 30% at lvl 10 and the After cast delay by 50%.

Just today i tested with someone the skill Soul destroyer in it, wich does have a reduced after cast delay from my experience about ro. i was surprised to see that it didnt work. I had to assume that it must have been changed on this kind of server, because of the fact that i tested it on a Aegis server, wich cant change the effects of skills like that.

Is it a bug? or is it supposd to be like that on this server? if so, it would disappoint me a bit to be honest since it gimps bard/minstrels in their ability to support a lot =/

I would appreciate if a veteran or a gm of this server could help me out with that.

That's strange because I remember that the cast delay of SD was reduced when in MS. I'll try and see if it works or not and if it wasn't just a fluke that it didn't work. Just to make sure, it did reduce the cast time but it left the 2 second delay?

well it left a really short delay, possible 2 it was arround the 2 seconds.

i just started to get curious since the person i tried it with was obviously not able to "spamm" it. Another palladin joined the discussion and told me that he tested it before too, and that it never worked.

Auron, it would be better if you test it on the test server. If it works properly there already then this problem doesn't exist, since the new svn will have it fixed already.

It's not meant to nullify the aftercast delay, it does reduce it however, like the skill says, 50%. So it sounds about right that the player cannot spam it, but the delay should be shortened.

Checking on the test server sounds like a good idea

Aand can you guess who the lovely paladin is? *Wink* Yeah, every server i've tested in didn't really reduce the FULL cast delay, but it seemed like it killed most of it. And now, EVIL FACES!EvilEvil
