Speaking of new systems, Ragnarok 2 was supposed to be released, but it's still in open beta. I'm beginning to be curious about Ragnarok 2, though they lack classes right now. Do you know their system of job changing will be similar to Final Fantasy Tactics(my favorite strategy game/system)? You can level up classes and use certain defined abilities so that your character cannot be rigged through job+ability selection.


And yes, I know Final Fantasy Tactics was easy. The system, however, was wonderful. See, Final Fantasy V was the previous one with a job changing system, and they are both remarkably similar and fun. Combine that with Seiken Densetsu III's(Secret of Mana) light and dark hero-changing paths, and I will never. Leave. That. Game.

RO2 looks like a game called flyff. I played the open beta and it looked was pretty bad. But im not gonna judge until it officially comes out.

It's been on beta for over 2 years now. I think it just doesn't have the same appeal as the original RO

Because High Priests with assumptio being a pvm only spell is too strong, let's nerf heal so that with lv 10 meditatio and healing staff High Priests only heal 1800 (lich bone wand with decent refine still heals 2300 though). Hm... not enough. Let's make assumptio give 200% def/mdef only, since we definitely DON'T want people to survive clashing spiral from MvPs >_> I guess we better asura our way through mvps or be ready to sacrifice 5% of exp each time we mvp.

This is one nutty update... hope the monsters get just as much nerf as we do.

Within the 40+ page thread discussion, finally we see some glimpse of what MvPing in the future will be.

My thoughts? "Man I want my minstrel to tank Maya without any shield or pots too like this video

Seems like Monsters have it just as hard as we do.

Anyone else noticed that new GTB did 1 damage with mammonite?

Other things to notice: clown at lv 9x was only about lv 4x job level, reflecting what the first post in doddler said about much faster base level, but slower job level. Double Strafe's speed with mass food and attention concentrate on a clown is comparable to our current ~30 agi double strafe as well.
