It is. o: Though Madrid is kinda boring, especially if you plan on buying stuff, 'cause the stores mostly just have women's clothing and crappy souvenirs. Toledo, Torremolinos and Sevilla were awesome though. :3

yes, in most european countries (if not all of them) you can buy beer from your local fast food restaurants. it is a rather unique ordeal.

i work at mcd's and have tourist buses come in often with people from spain/france/italy etc and want to purchase beer and what not. a shame i can't please my customers =(

oh i'm sure they're still pretty strict about drinking on the job, maybe not as strict as we would be here in the US, but still...i wouldn't put it past our european friends to do something like that

Alchool in a place doesn't mean employees are drunk or drink during job. In most places they can't while working. I worked in a restaurent where there was alchool for a year and nobody was/could drink during job.
