Avatar size(upload and linking.)

What is the best way to get a picture to the 120x120 max, and it ACTUALLY be under 10 kb? Seriously..my pic is so small now, and it also says it is an incorrect file type. Does it have to be a jpeg or something?

It doesn't have to be 10kb.??I don't think you can upload an av.??You're only allowed to link.??I had this same problem and that's what I was told.??

Here's the thread I was thinking of! Where you read me writing of "these guys" is irrelevant now. I used to have a Boondock Saints av. I change my av and sig about every week.
