sonic acceleration is bugged

from irowiki (confirmed by many other sources as well):

Dodge Rate(%) = 100% - (Attacker Hit + 80 - Defenders Flee)
meaning if flee = hit, there is a 80% chance to land a blow.

from RMS:

Sonic Acceleration - Quest Skill (Skill ID# 1003)
Type: Passive Max Level: 1
Effect: Increases the Sonic Blow HIT by +50 and Damage by +10%

We tested on monsters, for example

monster: 215hit for 100% chance to hit
sinx: 165 hit, meaning a sonic blow should boost it to exactly 215 hit

we still missed 50% of the time which is what the rate should be without sonic accel, suggesting that sonic acceleration wasnt working.

various tests in pvp confirmed this as well using the dodgerate % calculations.

sonic acceleration doesnt seem to be working

Was missing so often against a monster that needed 215 flee with a 167 hit using SB. 167+50 = 217. How would I miss if Sonic Accel is doing what the skill implies =x ?

1- There is no such thing as 100% chance to hit. You should know that Kadar :@

2- I think it works that way:

rms guide Wrote:Sonic Acceleration does not give a flat +50 Hit. If your status window Hit is 100, using Sonic Blow while having SA will not increase it to 150. SA gives +50% ?Hit?, the Hit actually being Accuracy rate. Accuracy rate is the final percentage the game calculates after counting in the player?s Hit Rate and Enemy?s Flee Rate. If the player?s Hit was 100 and the enemy?s Flee is 150, the Accuracy rate is 30%. When the player uses Sonic Blow, Sonic Acceleration increases that 30% chance to 45%.

Wich would pretty much makes sense since I doubt gravity would have given a FREE skill that would give the equivalent of 50 STATS POINTS OF DEX.

Bash (Skill ID# 5)
Effect: A melee attack with ATK equal to 100% + 30%*SkillLV. There is a HIT bonus of 5*SkillLV.

youre telling me that is % too?

edit: never mind found out bash is also %. still sucks. its not imbalanced if it adds 50 hit. a sinx with 60 dex has 160 hit. even with 50 hit thats only 210 and will easily miss all flee chars so yeah. same with LK except they get concentration lol. not like its the same as ranged char's dex also dex adds atk, hit does not.

this thread is done though nothing to talk about. close if ya want
