My avatar and signature

Howdy ho! Im here to ask you a few newb questions about signatures and avatars. How can I make my avatar and signature background invisible, so it always matches with the forum colors? My siggy and avatar look so lame at the moment, but my avatar, I thought it would be a funny looking... Thank you all who can help me, and who cannot, may the force be with you...

Well, about your avar and sig, I think it's because of the order of hero color background. As you can see, in one post, it's white and then in the NEXT post it's light yellow, orange, pink? (I'm not sure)
if you post happens to be on the white, it's invisible. But if it's on the other color, it's visible

sometimes the web browser you modify your siggy with can affect the outcome of the overall look. Otherwise, when you make it originally with the transparent background, save it as a gif file and upload it without modifying it. THat should make it always clear, but never modify your siggy in chrome.

Save it as a PNG and delete the background in a good image editing program like GIMP or Photoshop. transparent backgrounds should be marked with a white and grey checkered pattern..
