Greetings heroes. Some time ago, I started occasionally assisting players with hard-to-get pets that ran away, understanding the difficulty of obtaining some pets, and the exclusivity of others. In time, this evolved from a quick help during events or special occasions, into an unspoken courtesy from the rest of the GM team that covered more and more pets.

In more recent times, the GM team has seen a sharp rise in runaway pet recovery requests for common pets (obtained by taming or repeatable quests/events). Additionally, the reasons for losing these pets is largely due to negligence such as AFK-ing, dying, dropped eggs, sold to NPC, etc. At times, GMs have also been hurried, treated rudely, and overall like they are required to recover pets.

The heRO GM Team would like to focus their heRO time developing the game, fixing bugs, resolving support tickets, and hosting events. Unfortunately, I must announce that **we will no longer be providing recovery of runaway pets of any kind, under any circumstances except when caused by bugs, glitches, etc. ** We have already discussed relief for common pet issues by other means, such as town mapflags that prevent intimacy loss, etc. However this is currently not in our plans for the time being, as we want to have some new content out for the first half of 2025.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your continued support.

Hey heroes, there's been some incidences where people with red health builds are being healed by out of party players and therefore affecting their PVM play strategies. While this can be done completely by accident and without knowing of the consequences of healing someone out of a build, we have received reports and evidence of players doing it deliberately.

These reports are being carefully looked at and investigated. However, from this point on any reports of this issue should contain the following: Video or recording of the incidence along with the affected player requesting and explaining to the healer to stop because low health or taking damage is part of their build. This request must be done more than once and in more than one channel (but preferably off main) since for example the request can be missed by being off screen etc. This is in no way meant to be a strict requirement as we'll be using other methods to figure out whether the healing is deliberately malicious.

Lastly, please use your head. You won't lose body or mind if someone gets your mvp. The more we have to take time off our hands to deal with what I honestly consider petty childish behavior, the more our future content is delayed. If you won't be a prick for your own sake then at least try it so you don't delay the content you'll be playing in the future.

To accompany its counterpart, the other class to receive skill edits in heRO will be the most expensive class: Whitesmith. This class is only given touch ups, and not a major overhaul like gunslinger.

Whitesmith's Problems in Pre-Renewall

It is by no means bad, but it's super unfriendly to play for multiple reasons, and the final result is that "it's not the worse, and there's some niche out there, so it comes out to be a meh."

It is clearly expensive to play: its good skills and defining feature is to throw zeny at your problems. We aren't going to change that part of its identity. However, on top of throwing zeny, it's also a SP consuming monster because skills are pricy and you need to refresh your buffs very often. To pay for both SP item upkeep and raw zeny is super punishing, so we're going to curb some of the class's SP cost. Paying zeny is enough. We don't need tons of honeys and blue pots on top of it.

A silly problem for Whitesmith that is absent for Creator (and Super Novice) is that it has a cart, which should be great for farming, but then you can't use it. Cart Termination (and cart revolution) requires your cart to be full to maximize your damage, so you can't take your empty cart to go farm in peace. We believe that if merchant classes have a cart as one of its defining feature, then Whitesmith should be allowed to actually use it.

Another reason why this class is strong but it's just far too hard to play: it is far too reliant on having only 2-3 usable weapon. "Ice pick or bust" for tons of monsters, then "Hurricane Fury/Giant Axe" for the rest, and there's no alternatives. This is caused by the nature that Whitesmith has effectively a single damage skill in practice. We aim to solve this problem by providing a small secondary build path for whitesmith: critical hits. If Whitesmith can crit on its skill, then you don't HAVE to use ice pick to bypass defense (though ice pick is probably still better most of the time), and you have a CHANCE at variety in what you can do. Mammonite will be promoted to have a chance to do critical hits so that it's not completely overshadowed by Cart Termination, while bridging the giant performance gap of a Whitesmith with ice pick, versus one without ice pick.

Finally: one of its buff is actively hindering the party. How many times do we see a blacksmith ruins parties with a buff that breaks the Hunter's bow? We want blacksmith buffs to be usable and plausible, so that it can at least play support in a party even if it cannot go to the front lines.

We hope that this will make the class be playable and accessible, while still retaining some of its known weaknesses where you are close range melee and extremely reliant on Cart Boost to keep your damage up.

The Changes

The changes are listed on the heRO wiki already, and will be implemented by the next major maintenance.

You can read about them here. You want to read Merchant, Blacksmith and Whitesmith section.

For the explanation of each change:

SP Changes: again to change SP cost so that the cost of the class is in throwing zeny, and not to drink tons of blue potions at the same time.

Cart Revolution and Cart Termination: damage formula changed so you always can use your cart however you see fit. You no longer need it to be full for max damage.

Buff duration changes: made to be more spread out in units of 30s to standardize the buff timers to be a bit more friendly, so that there's more uptime to keep attacking.

Mammonite: allows critical, but has no built in critical modifier similar to Gunslinger changes. This should open up new build paths and possibilities without resorting to ice pick, which has no equivalent or alternatives.

Repair Weapon: the item requirements have been simplified to Steel for everything. This way you don't have to worry about carrying all different types of junk "just in case" for different class weapon types. This should make the skill easier to use in all situations.

Gear Changes

Just like other updates, some gears are also updated to reflect the new changes.

To further promote possible gear diversities, some other 2 handed axes are brought to be closer in line to Giant Axe and Hurricane Fury in base stat just slightly so they aren't as embarrassingly unusable. In most scenarios, they are still weaker than the gold standard, but the differences are now narrower.

The following weapon has attack power changed, but no effect changed:

Two-Handed Axe: 185 => 215 (boost the forged axes)

Sabbath: 120 => 230

Slaughter: 120 => 230

Guillotine: 210 => 230

Ignus Steel: 250 => 300

End Sectora: 250 => 300

Dreamstone Axe: 200 => 230

Gears with effect changes:

Windhawk: ATK changed from 95 to 115. Grants Throw Tomahawk. Each refine of the weapon will give Throw Tomahawk a 5% boost in damage. It's still not going to be great, but it'll be a tapping option for smiths in parties to get bit more exp.

Tomahawk: ATK increased to 210. Each refine increases the damage of Throw Tomahawk by 50%. This will give Whitesmith its only iconic ranged option a bit more oomph, and although the percentage boost is scary, the gear has no card slot so Whitesmith will hurt more at range, but it's still a farcry from Sniper.

Heart Breaker: the weapon will not change for whitesmith, but it will be allowed for blacksmith to equip as well to enable critical builds before trans. However, blacksmith loses 50 ATK, 10 CRIT and the chance to hammerfall compare to Whitesmith. As a trade-off, this weapon is no longer usable by High Swordsman.

When will the changes rollout?

Whenever GM-Ayu doesn't need to work overtime. It'll be same update as Gunslinger update.

When the change is rolled out, all Blacksmiths and Whitesmiths will be given 3 free reset for a month so you can test out the changes and reset to a build that you like with no penalty.

No de-card options will be offered: it's buffs across the board.

We will keep an eye on Tomahawk: if it gets out of hand on the Tomahawk scaling, we'll reserve the right to nerf it with no compensations for Oridecons spent on the weapon (it has no card slots so no de-card talk is necessary.)

Mini-FAQ

Q: Will there be a Blacksmith card set update?

A: Yes but due to lack of time, it will not be released with this set.

Q: What about smithing? Will there be changes or updates for smithing in hero?

A: Yes, but not this update. Relevancy of smithing is a bigger systematic problem to tackle as a whole that is beyond the scope of this update. However, we'll at least introduce new smithing options and weapons some day.

Soon™.

Guillotine: 210 => 230

Ignus Steel: 250 => 300

End Sectora: 250 => 300

Dreamstone Axe: 200 => 230

The 3rd major class to receive skill edits in heRO will be the extended class: Gunslinger.

Gunslinger's Problems in Pre-Renewall

Gunslinger is not meant to be comparable to Sniper as Sniper required more experience to level, but Gunslinger cannot even compare to Hunter as a ranged class in damage. Hunter is considered the better ranged DPS class, and Gunslinger does not have many unique things going for it. Gunslinger has more SP, but every skill is extremely pricy in comparison to Hunter such that they actually have worse longevity than Hunter too.

It is supposed to have 5 types of guns, but beyond the pistol and rifle, the other 3 guns are barely (if at all) supported by Gravity. They don't have a lot of usable skills, and it makes Gunslinger really expensive to gear because you need a lot of weapon cards to make a new version of each gun type. The 5 types of guns don't have really defined build path or play pattern.

Finally, the lack of gear choices is not helping Gunslinger at all. It is the butt joke of all classes in RO for having no defining feature and is a total meme. If it is to be a meme, let's at least make it a fun one.

Unique Aspect of Gunslinger: Swap Weapons for Different Situation

In heRO, we want the 5 guns to have a reason to exist. With Gunslinger's extended status thus more skill points, you should have enough skill points to utilize 2 out of the 5 weapons (or 3rd.) Depending on what you want it to be and with careful planning of your stat spread, you should be able to use 2 different guns as you see fit based on what you want to do.

Pistols: The "default" weapon for Gunslinger, capable of doing bit of everything and suitable for all situations. They can auto-attack, have short range mobbing option, or single target high damage attack. However, they are not specialized in any of these actions compare to guns dedicated to the tasks. This is relatively the most usable weapon as is for skills, and using heRO's custom pistols available, you will find the pistol skills quite usable already. Along with a small boost in this update, pistols should be very usable for Gunslingers in many situations.

Gatling Gun: The auto-attack weapon: use Gatling Fever to boost your base ATK power dramatically and attack at maximum attack speed. The problem is that Gatling Gun has only Gatling Fever, and their auto-attacks aren't very powerful. In heRO, we will grant Rapid Shower to be usable by Gatling Gun, as naturally Rapid Shower is a pre-requisite skill to the unique Gatling Fever anyway. Chain Action also applies to Gatling Guns to reinforce the fact that Gatling Gun is the ultimate auto-attack gun of choice for Gunslingers. Gatling Guns will be useful if you want low SP usage, and stunlock the enemies. It is also a great weapon as the basis of any physical-based autocast builds.

Rifle: Rifles have always had great natural CRIT, but it is useless because the CRIT cannot be utilized. CRIT only applied to normal attacks but Rifle has a slow attack. In heRO, we will change Rifle skill "Piercing Shot" to allow critical attacks so that Rifle can finally utilize their natural CRIT oriented weapons.

Shotgun: Shotgun is the single target blowout abilities for Gunslinger, aiming to score critical OHKO or 2HKO enemies. heRO has provided some useful shotguns available and we'll like to continue to head towards this direction.

Grenade Launcher: Grenade Launcher is a joke as their unique traps do almost no damage, and this weapon group has the lowest variety of weapon. In heRO, grenade launchers will retain their trap, but they should also live up to the fantasy where grenade explosions should deal large area damage. Grenade launchers will be modified to always deal splash damage naturally, and the Gunslinger class set gives Grenade Launcher massive armor piercing abilities to deal insane AoE damage with the newly improved Spread Attack. Grenade Launcher build should find themselves at a easy time to deal ranged AoE damage.

The Changes

The changes are listed on the heRO wiki already, and will be implemented by the next major maintenance.

You can read about them here

For the explanation of each change:

Most SP cost changes: changed so that it's more in line with Hunter's Double Strafe, or Acolyte buff spells.

Flip the Coin: to reduce frustration of downtime where Gunslinger has to spend flipping coin, the success rate is greatly increased.

Chain Action: although critical is not the focus of Gatling Guns and Pistols, it has been changed to allow critical attack to be consistent with Thief's Double Attack. Chain Action also applies to Gatling Guns to boost Gatling Gun in auto-attack department.

Madness Canceller: greatly improved in almost all areas so that it's more enticing to use. Its shortened duration is actually a buff since it gives you flexibility to exit the stance when you don't need it. Its SP cost ratio for duration is actually the same so there is no SP cost nerf of any type here. You can also cast the skill again to end it prematurely for further flexibility.

Gunslinger's Panic: Use it in a pinch to gain defensive abilities, but its SP cost and duration are now much shorter/lower to give you the flexibility to use it only when you need it. Again, this change is to give Gunslinger the flexibility that stances are meant to be.

Increase Accuracy: boosted to be more in line with Blessing in duration/cost.

Single Action: ASPD boost so that there's actual motivation to consider getting it for all 10 levels.

Tracking: is now affected by Poem of Bragi- this shouldn't be a dangerous change considering that there are many other stronger skills that are made near instant-cast by Bragi.

Rapid Shower: usable by Gatling Gun now since you need to learn Rapid Shower to learn Gatling Gun exclusive skill anyway.

Desperado: a small boost in reliability should make Desperado stronger in the long run, without ruining the defining feature of shotguns/grenade launcher to be the safer and stronger AoE option for Gunslinger.

Gatling Fever: more boosts to give one of the worse gun types a bit more oomph and power.

Spread Attack: the scaling is now actually considerable and thus no longer a useless joke. This should be the AoE attack of choice for Gunslingers.

Ground Drift: total damage formula rework so that the skill is worth using, without being a status focused trap to be different from Hunter traps. This is an all-out damage oriented trap, with a status that is also damage oriented.

Gear Changes

Just like other updates, some gears are also updated to reflect the new changes.

The following weapon has attack power changed, but no effect changed:

Gold Lux[0]: Power 20 => 110

Wasteland's Outlaw[2]: Power 68 => 80

Soldier Revolver: Power 70 => 90 (to be closer to Sniper BG weapons)

Glorious Pistol: Power 80 => 90 (to be closer to Sniper BG weapons)

Grenade Launchers

Destroyer: Power 220 => 270

Inferno: Power 280 => 330

Soldier Grenade Launcher: Power 300 => 350

Rifles

Soldier Rifle: Power 50 => 110 (to be closer to Sniper BG weapons)

Gatling Guns

Drifter: 50 => 65

Butcher: 75 => 90

Soldier Gatling Gun: 80 => 100

Glorious Gatling Gun: 90 => 100

Minigun: 60 => 75

Guns/Gears with effect changes:

All Grenade Launchers: they will naturally deal splash damage in a 5x5 area (2 cell splash radius)

Minigun: will always have 3x3 splash radius, without any chance activation

Sharpshooter Revolver: each refine rate of this equip will reduce SP cost of all skills by 3%- previously this pistol has no understanding quality and the rapid shower boost doesn't make sense. We've changed this to allow pistol users to really spam skills for huge longevity boost in battle.

Color Scope: this weapon previously overlapped with Lever Action Rifle as both are crit oriented. We'll change Color Scope to provide a +25% crit damage. If you already have enough crit via other gears, then Color Scope can give you even more damage than before.

Gunslinger's Jacket: now that Spread Attack's base effect is boosted, the jacket's boost for Spread Attack will be scaled back to 20% only

Ask and we shall answer!

So how many prizes can one win?
Answer: You will get the listed participation prize for each worthy* entry. Up to a max of 2 of your entries can win. For each winning entry, you can pick a winner's costume, and a choice pack.

I'm not great at digital drawings, can I do them by hand?
Answer: Yes, just make sure it's scanned properly (high resolution) and has a clean look (not blurry, grainy, etc).

How do GMs judge entries?
Answer: Each GM must individually pick what they feel are winning entries. Once the judging period is over, the entries that received the most votes wins. Keep in mind beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and thus every GM has their own criteria, likes, dislikes, etc.

Are the rewards exclusive?
Answer: No, there's no promise that anything will be exclusive. It is entirely possible that rewards here are suddenly obtainable ingame via a permanent method the very next day.

Why are the rewards so bad compare to [insert whatever gameplay thing]?
Answer: This one is exclusively banners, which are often regarded as "less work" than art contest in previous categories, such as card arts and definitely in loading screens. I am also not keen on giving out rewards that are effectively inaccessible ingame via just playing the game unless they serve no functional purposes. Therefore, most unique new things this time are costumes. No players should feel punished that they can never get gears as good as an artist, no matter how good they are in mechanical plays or how much effort they put in to grind in the server.

Why are the rewards so good compare to [insert whatever gameplay thing]?
Answer: I believe that for an artist to make a winning entry, an artist has to pour in an insane amount of effort for their artwork, not unlike ingame grinding/camping. They have to give up their free time which could've been spent farming or questing or doing whatever in-game. If the baseline of the reward does not even justify spending what could have been farming time, why would they participate? Also the artwork submitted will be used for server advertisement post purposes, which is also contributing to the server in their own ways as well. Think about how much it would've costed to commission these artists to draw for the server in cash, and perhaps that may convince you to see why art contests an attractive reward.

*To be considered worthy, an entry should look like at least 1 hour was spent on it. We reserve the right to refuse entries deemed too "cheap" (avoid stick figures and such).
Questions

Disclaimers:
By posting your entry, you agree to the following:

- Submitted entries can be used by the GM Team for the server in any way shape or form, in or outside the game (forum, RMS, HeRO's social media, etc).
- The GM Team reserves the right to adjust prizes at any time as they see fit for balance purposes.
- Any entry which is determined to be antagonistic to HeRO Server or its players will be disqualified. In-game or forum punishments may also apply.
- The judgement of the contest organizers is final.

Tips and Tricks

Channel discord voice chat will be available

We've been through this before: there's no reason you don't have consumables, especially green potions

Low level or don't have much gears? You're still very valuable because every player who joins is an extra dreamsprite to give the entire server a wiggle room.

Supportive classes are generally not as gear intensive to play

You should meet up with other players to organize the party compositions before hand as you see fit

GMs are always demihuman, even if their slaves are not. Bring out those PVP gears.

Since you only need 1 dreamsprite to survive, it is fine for some players to die (and lose their dreamsprites) to slow down the GMs by engaging them.

On the other hand, if the players are confident in their ability to hold choke-points as a team, then there's reasons to huddle somewhere and turtle up.

Be careful of stealth assassination.

Huddling too tightly is not a good idea, since GMs playing a range class can easily pick off a dreamsprite from afar without engaging the players. Finding where the GMs are to have map awareness is a valuable resource.

Sometimes the GM's slaves are just too strong and are nearly invincible, but killing the GM will also kill all of her slaves. Sometimes, you want to rush the GM down instead.

Last 15 minute is not going to be fair: you just have to survive and buy time however possible.

Be careful of over-reliance on your pet as looter: GM will NOT assist you if your pet got forced to return to its egg and you drop valuables on the ground. You've been adequately warned.

Description:
Fall is the season when the supernatural come out to play. This particular October, something strange is happening in Niflheim. Every night the moon has been full and a chilling howl can be heard throughout the village. Villagers have been found dead in the streets and the Mayor has enforced a new curfew and is asking people to remain in their homes in order to protect the townsfolk.

Rules:

Make a new Novice and meet up with the host by the novice event registry npc and the welcome lady in the novice Training Ground. Note: Fun and anonymous character names are encouraged. Especially if you can make them fit into your roleplay elements in the event. Be creative, but please remain within the 18 character limit!

The game begins once 7 or 8 players show up. More are always welcome but the game cannot start until we have at least 7 players.

There will be a hat shop at the beginning so everyone can have something fun to wear!

Backstory will be provided at the beginning to set the tone so please be patient and respectful while the host goes over everything

Players will be told their roles individually in a Direct Message by the narrator at the beginning of the game. Please do not reveal your role to anyone! When night time comes the narrator will create a chat window with the name of the role on top that will only allow the number of people in that role to enter. Only enter the chatroom if you are in that role. Once you enter the chatroom please answer the question prompted by the narrator and then wait until you are dismissed to leave.

When the host announces night time there will be no moving, emoting, or speaking, (including in main chat, party chat, or, guild chat) or anything that could hint as to whether or not you are the role in the chat window. Anyone who breaks this rule will die. Likely in a creative fashion.

All special roles (save for the Hunter) that play a part beyond the first turn are treated as being “out of their house”, if the drunkard asks about them.

The Mayor’s vote counts as the tie breaking vote only in the event of a tie. Otherwise his vote will be counted as regular.

Killed Novices will remain in trick dead until the game is over. The dead cannot talk. Period. Dead players are however encouraged to make a party so they can try and guess who the “Werewolves” are!

If you are killed in the night please wait until the announcement is made out loud before using trick dead.

If you are hanged please wait until you are prompted to give your final words. Please keep your final words brief. No more than a few sentences.

Clues will be given to help those who remain guess what the departeds role was.

If a mayor is killed, I will PM them asking what their will contains.

Occasionally people will be given the opportunity to roleplay out their fate.

Note: This is a Roleplaying event! The more you get into character and the more effort you put into it the more fun you should get out of this game. Please be respectful to other players. There will be a shorter trial round at the beginning of the event so people can familiarize themselves with how the rules work.

Roles in order by summons:

(Not summoned) Villager: Objective is to eliminate all werewolves

(Not Summoned) Mayor: The Tie breaking vote is yours. If you die you leave a will as to who will take over as the new Chief.

(Summoned first night only)Cupid: Choose 2 players to be linked together (this can include the player). If one of them is eliminated, the other is eliminated as well (as their souls are now connected).

It is most unfortunate that a post like this needs to be make right before October which is our server celebration month. It should have been a joyous time. The GM team had incredible restraints dealing with a large amount of community issues, but we have clearly reached a breaking point.

GM-Ayu Wrote:We like to keep the rules light and flexible, in hopes that everyone knows what it means to respect for one another and not to hinder the playing experience of other players. Clearly, the recent trend in 2021 to bend the letter of the law and try to force the GM's hands as a form of retributive justice say that our player base (with an average age well above 25, and some of us being parents!) can no longer operate on "good faith" principles.

Is "don't KS", "don't kill another player/mob drop", "respect one another" and "don't harass another player" so difficult to understand? Ask yourself, why do you need the GM to "give an objective, quantitative" definition of these simple things? If your actions require a GM to clarify if it's legal, you should probably not do it. If you have to drive out other people in order to feel joy in what you do, and assume that any mistake that happened in your presence is done to spite you in some wicked conspiracy, why are you playing an massively multiplayer online game at all? If you always assume the worse in others, then clearly you hate people, so why are you trying to play with other people? There are many good single player games out there. Play one of those.

<><><>

GM-Pereca Wrote:Competitive Sportsmanship and Gaming

Let’s talk about competitive sportsmanship and why exhibiting good sportsmanship is important. The common goal that all competitors have when they enter a competition of any kind is simple. Winning. Most competitors enter competitions because they want to win. In fact, they want to be the best and they want to be rewarded for their dedication and hard work.

That being said, I want to talk about why having a positive attitude when you game, especially in a competitive setting, is to your benefit as well as to those around you. Good sportsmanship is about showing respect and exhibiting appropriate behaviour to both your teammates and your opponents. So why should you respect other players in a competition? Do you compete in competitions because you want to be the best that ever was? Then stop putting down other players to bring yourself up. Demeaning your competition only devalues your own win. If you win because the other players are inexperienced or denied the opportunity to grow, did you really win at all? Did the real winner just decide not to show up that day? If the star of the fight decided not to show up that day does the fight really matter at all?

A player who wins and then compliments the opponent is actually making their own win more meaningful. Think about it. If you win a competition against a really tough fighter, then that means you bested someone who is really good and that in turn means you are strong. If you win against someone who is weak then you are simply better then the poor sucker who showed up that day.

When you watch a sports game or any form of competition, is it more exciting if one team steamrolls the other? Or if both teams are tied until the end of the game keeping you at the edge of your seat during overtime not knowing which way it will go?

Yes, losing is frustrating. Just like any other competitor, I like to win. I also really like to compete. Competition makes the prize a lot more enticing. Believe it or not, having a healthy mindset towards competition makes it even more enjoyable. Being kind to a competitor can be difficult. It takes a lot more effort to make a good choice than to make a bad one.

If your teammates are struggling in a competition, help them improve instead of putting them down, so that you can all get better together. Compliment your opponents. The better your opponents are, the better you look when you overcome them. If you cannot find something nice to say then it is always better to keep your thoughts to yourself. Bringing down the competition not only brings down yourself, but it also discourages competitors and teammates from returning to compete in the future. If no one competes then your accomplishments are meaningless. You cannot be the winner of a competition that no longer exists.

Keep the fight inside the ring. You do not need to be best friends with your competitors but creating unnecessary animosity outside the fight only reflects badly on yourself.

If someone is breaking the rules or being inappropriate, report the behaviour. Just because someone else acts a certain way, does not mean it is okay to treat them the same way.

<><><>

GM-Ayu Wrote:Let this be a stern warning to everyone and every guild in the server. We hope that everyone will be more cautious of their own behaviours, and err on the side of caution. If issues continue to arise and players cannot behave themselves, then GMs will be forced to introduce much more heavy handed measures to make changes at the system level instead. If necessary, we will remove the possible cause of things that are enticing people to compete in an unsportsmanlike manner so that nobody gets it.

If we cannot behave to have friendly competitions over MVP, then we will remove FFA rule and introduce @noks, even though it's well known how noks is extremely strict for its own good.

If we cannot behave in Battlegrounds in its current form, then the entire system will be removed such that there are no more Battlegrounds on demand at the players' discretion and it will be a GM-hosted event only.

If we can't even tolerate the presence of another guild/s, then we aren't ready for competitive events. War of Emperium Second Edition is almost finished in its development for release, but clearly the GM team should re-evaluate if we should introduce it here as our players may not be mature enough to handle any attempts from the GM team to promote friendly competition in our server.

If GMs have to direct the attention of Test & Development to these "preventative" measures instead, then we will not have the resources to make new customized content for our server either.

This is why we can't have nice things.

<><><>

Finally, there are matters of just basic respect from one human being to another.

Female players are not free for you to instantly make suggestive moves over nor should they grin and bear whatever inappropriate words you have for them. If your approaches are not wanted and the other player said they don't appreciate whatever you are doing, you need to STOP.

No, women are not obligated to tolerate your suggestive behaviours, and if they ask you to stop, you don't get to write it off as "it's just a joke, 'bro.'"

If the GM team is ever presented any evidence where a player asked you to stop with whatever you are doing because you are making them uncomfortable or threatened, yet you continue to repeat said action, then you will be banned and the duration will be a long one. It will not matter that it took place over discord, or facebook, or iG or any other platform. Your complaints about "wokeness" will be ignored as the words of a misogynistic bigot. You will not be welcomed at our server any longer.

"Catcalling is bad" should not have to be a written rule on our server.

<><><>

In summary:

Please, grow up.
