Do you read?

So I realized a while ago that I do not enjoy reading anymore unless it is light reading, really. I brought this point up again in my mind after I was assigned a four-hundred-page book to read. The book, I found, was annoying to read. I fell asleep sometimes trying to read it because I didn't want to read it. This happened with other books too, more interesting. The last Harry Potter book is a great example. Got half-way through and then stopped reading it.

Have you got this problem? My friend came up with a theory that eventually, somehow, some people grow out of reading. I found this a bit silly, but I think, at a mental standpoint this could be true. What do you guys think
