Chronicles of Fairyland ~ The Decisive Battle

Today, Fairyland Forces lead by Amdusias, Cimeies and Andromallius invaded the country through Alberta and Izlude, taking down the 12th and 13th fleets.

Cimeies marched his troops toward the Merchant Guild to severely damage the country's economy but was forced to retreat. He then chose to target Alberta City Hall. The fight was intense, but a champion simply known as OYJ delivered the final blow. Cimeies was defeated and captured.

This distraction gave Fairy Andromallius enough time to leave Alberta through the forest, as Faeheim warships rained fire on Alberta before being shot down by the military. The Spellweaving fae and his troops set fire to several parts of the forest, but was brought down in the end by MenaceWizard, Ezekiel Stalker, Moksha and several others.

Just then, Amdusias set foot in Izlude, killing several residents and merchants on his way to Prontera. Barricades had been erected at the southern gates, but before he could bring them down, the clown avaricious' tarot whisked him off somewhere else. Amdusias used the opportunity to enter Prontera through the West Gate.

After decimating the Chivalry building, The Fae Overlord and his troops marched for the castle, where they encountered the group of heroes again -- This time reunited -- and met with the strongest squadron of the military as well.

The battle raged on, with Amdusias raining lightning down on everyone, and Fairyland warships bombing the city. Then, the unexpected happened. In the heat of the battle, Amdusias' wings were ripped off somehow. Be it karmic justice or someone's way of trying to stop him, it didn't matter. The Fae, enraged and in tremendous pain, stopped trying to make it into the castle, and targeted the heroes instead. The heroes received the full force of Amdusias' anger, but fought on. As his end came near, he ordered the Faeheim army to retreat, and was left alone to die.

With Amdusias dead and Andromallius and Cimeies in prison, peace will soon return to Fairyland. Prince Pico has taken the throne for a few days while his sisters' Pixie and Lucretia finish their errands in Rune-Midgard. The two sisters held a press conference today to apologize for all the death and destruction the fae have caused, and informed they will help with the reconstruction. A quarter of all available Auction funds were donated to this cause. Tonight they will return to Fairyland to set everything right and speak to their people regarding Amdusias.

To those that assisted in the battle, we are all grateful. To all that perished, you will not be forgotten.

"It's over. It is finally over." The paladin let the wind blow through her hair as workers worked on the Chivalry repairs.
"Summerstream! Letter for you!" It was a young swordsman who was running over. Summerstream took the letter from the boy, then read it over.
"... Oh. Isn't this a surprise? Looks like I still have my job. "
