A new patch has been released to prepare for the next major content release + Trial of Heroes. However, there's a few changes that take place immediately.

Quality of Life Improvement

Malangdo has a new vending machine at (220,167) that allows you to exchange coins. You can upgrade or downgrade coins to be the ones you want. Note that you cannot upgrade A coins into Seagod Anger, as Seagod Anger remains unique to Malangdo Culvert Hard Mode. Currently, the machine only converts a fixed amount, but we'll work on adding options to do batch conversions another time.

Malangdo Enchanter now equips your weapon after an enchant/disenchant, provided that you have only 1 of that Weapon in your inventory.

Cool Event Corps and Cat's Hand now support Guild Storage.

Healer now recovers more negative statuses.

Item Changes

  • Enchanted Boots now give 3 def, up from 2 def. Instead of providing (3*base level) Max HP and (1*job level) Max SP, now it provides (6*base level) Max HP and (2*job level) Max SP, which is double.
  • Enchanted Boots and Enchanted Cloak form a combo that gives 10% max HP, and 5% damage reduction from boss monsters
  • Auger Driver no longer chains grimtooth on to manual casts of grimtooth. Instead, Auger Driver will trigger Splash Attack, and the damage of Splash Attack is doubled. This change is to fix the issue where Auger Driver has the potential to crash everyone in range of Auger Driver user when the user is mobbing with Auger Driver against a sufficiently large sized mob. This should turn out to be a neutral change since Splash Attack area of 7x7 is much larger than the original Grimtooth's 3x3 area, though Splash Attack (100%, then doubled to 200%) is weaker than Grimtooth's 250% damage. Each individual trigger's damage is slightly weaker, but the larger area allows your mob to slightly spread out and still be caught by Auger Driver.

Bugfixes

  • Fixed an issue with Chilly Spell Book where its activation rate is 0.4% instead of 4%
  • Fixed an issue with Sapha's Hood not comboing properly
  • Fixed an issue where Pocket Watch[1] doesn't combo the same way as its unslotted version in certain combinations
  • For now, Svigalae card does not activate unless your base Strength and base Intelligence stat are identical, since it triggers an underflow error (this emergency fix has been in place since Jan). We hope that we can fix the issue and restore the card to its former effect by the time of the next Trial of Heroes.
