After finding the Tessera Guards Supervisor, Siors, searching crates south of Marasmius, he asks for help with investigating Rekenber's dealings in Faeheim.
- Talk to the Tessera Guard Supervisor, Siors, at the port Marasmius field (fae_fild03 92 67). He is investigating crates, but finds nothing, so he leaves to check out shipping crates in Fortuna.
- Talk to Siors again near the south port in Fortuna (fortuna 130 92). He then explains what has been going on, and asks the player for help again.
- Visit the residence of the owner of the Faeheim Mining Company, which turns out to be Fortuna Inn (fae_in01 117 86). Talk to the owner of the Inn. Apparently the mining company owner, named Dollos, left town after the mining incident.
- Returns to Siors, who will ask for help in finding Dollos.
- Meet Siors at the east entrance of Rachel (rachel 264 131). He will ask to search the northeast quadrant of Rachel, but only the upper half of it.
- Near the park on the northeast section (rachel 252 208) there is a fairy, who us too distracted to reply when talked to.
- Find Siors on the lower half of the northeast quadrant (rachel 219 177). He will run back to where Dollos was.
- Talk to the fairy at the park, and he will deny being Dollos walk away.
- Talk to Siors again, who says the fairy walked down the stairs and went into a house.
- Enter the house down and southwest of the stairs (rachel 217 164, you might need to rotate your ingame camera to see the entrance), and talk to the fairy.
- Siors will then show up. Talk to the fairy again, who will eventually accept being Dollos, and explain everything that has been happening.
- Meet Siors and Dollos at the latter's lab in southeast Yuno (yuno 274 72).
- Dollos does not have the keys to enter his old lab, so the team has to break in. He suggests melting the locks.
- If you know the fire ball skill, you can just melt the lock yourself, and proceed. If not, you will have to bring Siors a fire ball scroll of any level.
- Talk to Siors to enter Dollos' lab. Inside, they will be searching for any incriminating paperwork. Check out a book on a stand near Siors (job3_gen01 13 53).
- Once contents the content has been read, the player, Dollos, and Siors will be attacked, and everything will go dark. Talk to Siors to escape.
- You'll wake up at the Tessera Inn, with 2 familiar guards, Eoin and Daragh, guarding your room. Talk to either of them.
- Meet Siors inside the Tessera Guards Station (tessera 226 192). He will ask to meet him in front of Carandel Palace.
- Outside the Carandel palace (carandel 152 169), talk to Pixie, who will thank you for your work.
- Talk to one of Pixie's two Guards, who will reward you with five of either one of the following item, chosen randomly:
- Abrasive
- SP Consumption Reduction Potion
- Regeneration Potion
- Rainbow Cake
- Acti Potion
- Talk to Siors one last time, to receive 8 Million Base and Job exp, and 150 reputation points.
At this point, you can now start the Mourning The Fallen sidequest.
