The Lutia Train Service is in trouble! Help the Train Manager solve problems and to make mends with his father. As a reward, you will be able to use the Lutia Train Service and earn a new headgear.

1.
Go to the Train Station of Kaldheim (/navi kaldheim 179/236) and talk with the Train Manager. He will tell about the train situation and how snowstorms are affecting the train service. As there is a lack of materials to make the repair, and lack of experience on his part, he asks you to find his father Hendrik in Veins and deliver as letter asking for help.

2.
Teleport to Veins and reach a building in the northwest part of town (/navi veins 128/266) and talk with Old man (/navi ve_in 193/225) Hendrick. He will express his desire to use this situation as a chance to improve his son's ability to solve problems. The recommendations he gives is to search for train blueprints and think about the basic lessons. Return to the Train Manager with advice.

3.
Back to the Train Manager, the fixing of what is broken will need to wait. A Magmaring used in the boiler has escaped. You need to bring him back from the last wagon of the train.

4.
The door (/navi kaldheim 162/200) will trigger a dialog asking if you are ready to fight the Magmaring. After defeating it, you can start an interaction where you learn about the poor working conditions. Go back to the Train Manager.

5.
After learning of the situation, he asks you to set the Magmaring free. Doing so, he will flee to Poring City and you will earn 10 Reputation Points with the Porings. Going back to the Train Manager, your new task is to ask for blueprints and train parts at the city of Einbroch.

6.
Reaching the Einbroch Train Company (/navi einbroch 294/310), via the Einbroch Train Station in the top right corner of the map, talk with the Receptionist by the counter. She will ask you to go upstairs and ask you to talk with the Director first room on your left. The Director will provide you with the blueprints and a request form for the train parts.

7.
Returning to the Train Manager, he will ask you to inform the mayor about the fundings of repair. Go to the Town Hall (/navi kaldheim 103/130) west side of Kaldheim, then follow the up hallway. Talk about Train Repair with Mayor Lorens and he will warn you that the town's treasury is short on money.

8.
Inform the Train Manager about the situation and you both will come with 4 possible situations for this issue. You can pay partially the cost (390 000 zeny), all the cost (480 000 zeny), farm some of the items or farm all the items. Pick whenever you feel more comfortable with and the Train Manager will fill the train parts order. Return to Einbroch.

9.
Speak with the Director at Einbroch Train Company upstairs. He will process your order. Pay the materials if it's the case and wait a random time between 1 hour and 3 hours for the delivery. After this time, the Train Manager will take notice of the arrival.

10.
The Train Manager will now request materials to repair the boiler. Gather the following:

  • 3x Flame Heart
  • 1x Fragment (ID: 7094)
  • 1x Rough Wind

11.
After providing the necessary materials, the train will start working again. But a new problem have been reported! Monsters are invading the train during the trip. Go get rid of them. Use the same door on the last wagon, but this time choose the option to Fight Monsters. After a few waves of monsters, return to the Train Manager. He will invite you to a celebration at the Kaldheim Hotel.

12.
After 10 minutes, the celebration will start at the Kaldheim Hotel (/navi kaldheim 196/162). Follow the warp at the end of the right hallway and you will reach the ballroom. The Train Manager is sitting in a table near the bar, to the left. Talking two times with him, you will receive as rewards:

and 125 Lutia Reputation Points. And some base and job exp.
