Bathories requires 187-190 flee. lv 70+ is quite do able for merchants. (poor Light stayed there untill lv 95 from lv 70+-
I made my first mil from mining. Then much more from that later on too. c;
I was making 1-2mil a day from the time I could 1shot Porings on my archer, from selling the cards.
Gogo 0.15% drop rate on Porings.

Celeb wings bought from vend for 6.5mil at level 56, and Red Fairies for 21 mil at like.. level 70-75. =D

We're frighteningly similar in that aspect. xP

Amazing guide. +1 to the idea of stickying it.
+1 Namine...

no. 2 is very very important... made my first 200k from a hatter card... should have been 500k...

and for additional easily doable low level hunting spots and drops:
A. poring island -> sapling, easy for wizards and ranged classes, easy enough to OHKO/2HKO too with mammo or bash. 1% chance of a 100-200k item called Ment.
B. porcellios -> card is good, other drops not so bad to NPCs and one is required for a certain high end custom quest, easy to kill.
C. desert wolves -> card is decent, 100% drop is used in a certain monthly repeatable quest, stilettos and katars are good NPC stuff, and can sometimes be sold to some people looking for mid-level equips

happy hunting!

Points 2, 5, 7 and 9 should be combined into one huge KNOW/LEARN ABOUT THE SERVER thingy. Liek duh, does this server haz job changer?

Point 1, I'm not sure what you're thinking, but everybody likes having 25+ 99 trans.

Point 3, And not just zeny, it's a game of mental will.

Point 4/b, Kinda minor, and a bit of a hassle when GM events start popping in places you don't have unlocked.

Point 6, If you plan on "getting anywhere" in this game, trans purely off NPC gears, which essentially saves your money for the relatively high trans zeny cost (1.285 mil people!)

Point 8, Anywhere with monsters that aren't kicking your ass in 1.5 seconds, really. Exploring in an MMO is still a novel concept, hm? How to level without killing monsters?

Point 10, I've been acting like my b****y self since the server opened. I declare this point invalid because I said so.
Jen you need a spanking from mommyyyyyyyyyyyy! :O
Wow, this helped a bit. Thanks Icon_biggrin
Actually, picking your hunting location is the way to go. I'd been running around midgard with not a single care of leveling or zeni gaining on my newly made archer, i actually earned over 200k just from loots when the character is only level 40, not a lot, but it's still zeni.

I went to St. Capitonia Abbey to kill yoyos and smokies, hoping to get the cards, but turns out that the loots(strawberries, cacao, racoon leaf) itself actually sell pretty well even without OC, though the amount is not that much but it'll definately help a lot in getting a basic Crossbow and Arbalest/Gakkung. They're earth, so fire arrows kill them fast, but then again i used silvers and killing them is no problem at all.
I also went to Payon cave 1 and 2 to try my luck with cards again, but got more skull rings, opals, maces, stilettos, and bows instead. Stilettos[2] are pure zeni since noone wants them.
Of course, these 2 places are for the low levels only...
