AGI Auto Attack (Leveling)

When you are starting out, consumables can be too expensive so mobbing in a Bowling Bash build can be difficult. Though it is much slower, it may not be a bad idea to utilize a flee based build with 2H Quicken for leveling purposes, and consider a reset (or wait for trans) to change to a different build.

Starting AGI Knight Gearset

Top Headgear: Mini Propeller 12 Flee in headgear is fantastic, though Hunter Fly is bit of a pain to hunt. The enchant does not matter as the cast time refine is irrelevant.
Mid Headgear: Small Ribbons Small Ribbons 5 flee can be substantial early on. Sohee is not difficult to farm, but you can probably buy it at very low cost from veterans who need to hunt Alice.
Lower Headgear: heRO Advanced Backpack The advanced backpack will be sufficient until you get better backpacks or lower headgear. The extra weight and chance for some Gift Box will be a good start.
Right Hand: Forged very very strong elemental claymore Forged gears are buffed in heRO, especially on auto-attacks so they will be more than sufficient when you are starting out.
Left Hand:
Armor: Pantie Pantie is easy to farm from Zerom.
Garment: Undershirt Undershirt is customized to drop from Requiem in heRO which should be easy for a Knight to handle as well.
Footwear: Fricco Shoes Fricco Shoes is a bit easier to farm in heRO against Pingvi instead of Ancient Mimic, or alternatively save up to buy it cheaply for 2 flee in footwear. Pingvi is a decent leveling target, though avoid Angvi for now.
Left Accessory: Green Apple Ring 2 str and 2 agi for 2 flee is a decent starter, and Green Applering's map is good to grind on as well (running away from Teddyring)
Right Accessory: Green Apple Ring
Pet:
Note: Matyr's Leash can be considered as something to swap to as you use Meat to heal up, and swap back to your normal accessory.

The best location to level as an agi knight relying on auto attack is against Dolomedes so you want to aim for the 205 flee and prepare insect gears. Here is a suggested gearset for you to assemble to prepare for the Dolomedes grind. You should prioritize having the sufficient flee, but any gear slots where you have excessive flee can be swapped for more insect damage, or insect exp gears. This should be very sufficient to get you to lv 99 to trans into Lord Knight as this build, but note that it is slower than partying or mobbing builds.

Dolomedes AGI Knight Leveling Gearset

Top Headgear: Mosquito Coil with Papilio Cinereus or Vanberk If flee can be spared, mosquito coil is great against insects and it's an easy to obtain headgear (from Sunny_Bug_Extermination). Put in a card to boost your dmg: Vanberk is more generic but more expensive, while Papilio Cinereus should be a cheap card to buy from players since it has a very small niche.
Mid Headgear: Stretched Nose It's an easy monster to hunt. It'll boost our damage output again and Stumper card is good to keep for the future.
Lower Headgear: Mouthful of Watermelon A quick turn in quest gives you this headgear which boosts exp to greatly hasten your grind with minor damage reduction too. It's perfect in this case.
Right Hand: Forged very very strong Wind Claymore, or Zweihander with 2 Caramel A refined VVS Claymore is sufficient but if you want to invest a bit, a 2h sword with Caramel and using wind endow scrolls will be optimal. However it's understandable if you want to keep Caramel cards for other more flexible gears instead.
Left Hand:
Armor: Dragon Vest with Winter Gibbet This combo of Winter Gibbet Dragon Vest is usable by all class and is the essential go-to for flee based attacker, even at trans/high level. This is a great investment that will pay off for a long time even for other classes.
Garment: Dragon Manteau with Whisper This combo of Whisper Dragon Manteau is usable by all class and is the essential go-to for flee based attacker, even at trans/high level. This is a great investment that will pay off for a long time even for other classes.
Footwear: Ur's Greave or with , Haunted Cookie or Matyr/Green Ferus This slot is not very critical. Switch to a generic footwear with Skeleton General for exp. If you want combat stats, Ur's Greaves is great even without the combo as bonus ATK and HP are both terrific and usable even if you leave the slot empty. Haunted Cookie is a great generic card as it's the only footwear card that boosts ATK but you may want to save it for better or more generic footwear in the future. Otherwise, the generic Matyr/Green Ferus/Verit also suffice.
Left Accessory: Feathered Ring, Bradium Ring or Ur's Seal with Fighter Scaraba or Mantis Feathered Ring if you need the flee, but if you can get away with it, the other options give you more damage. Only use Mantis if it gets your total STR to be a multiple of 10, otherwise Fighter Scaraba is better.
Right Accessory: (same as accessory 1 but make sure only 1 Ur's Seal is used and never double Ur's Seal) Ur's Seal's effect is decent for normal attacking but it does not stack, so it's advised to use only 1 Ur's Seal at most.
Pet: Waste Stove, Springbeak or Ijsbal Waste Stove has a niche here as a looter pet to carry potions and items for you, while also having insect bonus. Usually it's not well regarded cause Coal is heavy, but in this case it's useful. Otherwise, Springbeak for ASPD or Ijsbal for ATK boost, but note that both of these 2 pets require long reputation quests to obtain: [Lutia_Reputation_Rewards
Note: While this is not optimal for Knight, a lot of the gears used here are generic and can be shifted to classes that have far less options and have to rely on fighting Dolomedes as their leveling option. From that perspective, if you plan to build up other agi based single target melee classes, then these gears will come in handy for those other classes. This build is not recommended to take into Lord Knight builds.

Bowling Bash

Bowling Bash is more expensive build but it is the fastest solo leveling option for Knight, and translates perfectly fine for Lord Knight. Initially, it's recommended to rely on using butterfly wings to go back to town to heal SP, and stay at place that's easily accessible with Warper as your source for SP. Later on, accumulating SP items for prolonged mobbing session is recommended.

Starting Bowling Bash Knight Gearset

Top Headgear: Mooring Hat Knight should at least use base 5 def hats to have a resemblance of defense, so use that as your baseline to evaluate good headgear. Mooring on the other hand has surprising base HP bonus, decent base def and 1 str too. It is easy to farm as well.
Mid Headgear: Masquerade or Sigruns Wings or Fin Helm Masquerade can boost damage against High Orcs, but Sigrun Wings from Hero's Journey for 1 str in mid is also acceptable. Fin Helm is a classic for more DEF to reduce potential damage as well.
If it's High Orc, you need both water and fire vvs claymore.
Left Hand:
Armor: NPC Shop Full Plate[0] Initially, just use any armor with high base DEF.
Garment: NPC Shop Manteau[0] Initially, just use any garment with high base DEF.
Footwear: NPC Shop Greaves[0] Initially, just use any garment with high base DEF.
Getting the forged weapons should be your primary goal to save up for as the elemental claymores should be able to carry you for a long time.

Bowling Bash Knight Gearset (High Orcs)

Top Headgear: Magni Cap Magni Cap without the combo is still decent in base def and 2 STR. There's not a lot of super useful Str/ATK cards. Alternatively, anything with high defense works as well. Wandering Wolf Helm is technically better, but it is really expensive for the mild improvement.
Mid Headgear: Devil's Whisper There's not a lot of great options against demi-humans. Devil's Whisper is a very mild improvement over Masquerade but this can be the last slot to spend resources to upgrade, if at all.
Lower Headgear: Samurai Mask The EXP boost will be pretty significant so you can save up for this item after you formulated the basics and is able to handle mobbing High Orcs reliably.
Right Hand: Forged very very strong elemental claymore or Glorious Claymore You can keep using the Claymore or grind up Battlegrounds for the Glorious Claymore which will dramatically boost your damage. You can use Ice Endow scrolls to further boost your damage.
Left Hand:
Armor: Ur's Plate with Picky or Echio The base DEF is low but the combo bonus is worth it. Picky Card is actually ok with your first Ur's Plate for 10 ATK boost. Echio card is suitable for Ur's Plate since Ur's Plate is Knight-only anyway which is perfect for Echio.
Garment: Ur's Manteau with Raydric, If Raydric is beyond affordable range or you want to save it for a more generic garment, then take any garment card that helps you survive. Ur's Manteau is pretty cheap so it's ok to put an intermediate card in for a +4 garment, or even leave it uncarded for now.
Footwear: Ur's Greave with Haunted Cookie or a HP boosting card. Ur's Greaves is great, and even better if we are getting the combo bonus. Haunted Cookie is a great generic card as it's the only footwear card that boosts ATK but you may want to save it for better or more generic footwear in the future. Otherwise, the generic Matyr/Green Ferus/Verit also suffice. Am Mut Card can be used to boost exp but generally, exp shoes are better in generic footwear and breaking the combo is losing a lot of combat stats right now.
Left Accessory: Ur's Seal with Fighter Scaraba or Mantis Only use Mantis if it gets your total STR to be a multiple of 10, otherwise Fighter Scaraba is better. The Ur's Seal activation will not come up very much. We are only using it for the combo bonus.
Right Accessory: Bradium Ring with Fighter Scaraba or Mantis Bradium Ring
Pet: Springbeak or Ijsbal Alice gives bonus damage but White Potion is generally too heavy and too expensive. Go with the usual Springbeak for ASPD or Ijsbal for ATK boost, but note that both of these 2 pets require long reputation quests to obtain: Lutia for Ijsbal and Faeheim for Springbeak
Note: For other locations, you can adapt this build to elements/races that fit your targeted area. High Orc is just a classic location so it is a good reference point.

Here are some modifications possible at other locations.

Chill Wind: got decent zeny on its loot with blue herbs to be sold/be turned to sp items for you. Silver Feather is a hatter item for more exp. Ijsbal on the map will randomly heal you so that will save up on resources. Similar gears can be taken to Sea Tiger which is also water/brute, but it's more difficult due to the higher HP.

  • Top Headgear: Grand Peco Hairband for increased damage
  • Lower Headgear: Scarlet Rose for increased exp
  • Weapon: switch to a fire claymore instead, or put anti-brute or anti-earth carded 2h sword
  • Sapling Backpack and Sapling Hat can be used as a combo to massively reduce Chill Wind's damage

Malangdo Culvert (Normal): Malangdo Culvert is mostly custom designed where knight has the biggest advantage. Be it in a party or even solo setting, Malangdo is a potential grinding spot to get materials for weapon enchants, which can be used for yourself or be sold to other players.

  • Top Headgear: Nekoring Hat for the combo to reduce damage from Fish race monsters
  • Lower Headgear: Nekoring Backpack for weight and bonus damage to water, which is all monsters in Malangdo Culvert (Normal)
  • Weapon: switch to a wind claymore instead, or put anti-fish carded 2h sword. It's recommended not to create an anti-water claymore for Malangdo as it does not scale well to the hard mode version (all monsters are still Fish but their element varies in Hard mode)
  • Pet: Green Maiden can be used for a small damage boost against fish race targets if you don't have Ijsbal

Geffen Dungeon 4: it is extremely mobby with lot of undead and some demon. Make sure you have a fire weapon to deal bonus damage against the undead, and to hit the ghost Nightmare.

  • Top Headgear: Hyegun Hat is a cheap hat to reduce damage from Undead while keeping the 5 def base line which is the dominant monster type there
  • Mid Headgear: Heart Purple Eyebandage or Heart Red Eyebandage are both superb, though they can be really expensive. However, they are useful in general for any physical damage classes so they may be worth the investment in the long run.
  • Lower Headgear: Bone in Mouth for the bonus exp to speed up the grinding.
  • Weapon: vvs fire claymore is decent. If you are using a better weapon, be sure to use fire endow so you can hit the ghost elemental Nightmares there.
  • Accessory: Elemental Ring and Ring of Fire deserve a special mention if you are using fire weapon so you can get the Fire Endow bonus which you are using in this dungeon. 80 ATK from your 2 accessories with 1 slot open is massive.

Lord Knight Bowling Bash Gearset

Top Headgear: Bone Head with Bungisngis Bone Head may come from a difficult mvp but it shouldn't be too expensive. It's the standard for 2 str while still having a slot. The card slot can be any that gives 2 STR, but Bungisngis is relatively better due to having 250 HP. Logi can be considered if the extra STR can hit a breakpoint to have a total multiple of 10 for STR.
Mid Headgear: (any 7% bonus dmg mid headgear) or a defensive option heRO has a series of 7% bonus damage against enemies of a particular race, so use 1 that fits whatever you are farming. Alternatively, classic Angel Wing Ears for 1 STR is an option, or a general defensive option.
Lower Headgear: any backpack of proper element, or Pirate Dagger Backpack for the proper element is best for weight and damage, but Pirate Dagger is ok for generic ATK boost.
Right Hand: Veteran Sword with Sword Guardian This is by far the most important gear. It's usable as even a Knight though its price range may take you to be Lord Knight to save up enough for it. This should be the priority to aim for.
Left Hand:
Armor: Bone Plate or Diabolus Armor Bone Plate is the cheaper option to still have STR and a slot. Diabolus Armor is better. Although it's from Satan Morroc, it's not unbearably expensive since the Diabolous Robe is the much more sought after armor. An unenchanted one shouldn't be too hard to save up for. As for cards, at this stage it's typically a suitable elemental armor to resist whatever you are fighting. If element does not matter, then Echio is sufficient. Diabolous Armor can be further enchanted but one with STR+3 will be pricy.
Garment: Green Babydoll with Raydric Orcus combo is a decent baseline for trans classes as a generic catch all for mix of offensive stats with some neutral resist, though Abyss 4 gear's availability may shift to favor going to use Dragonic Power gears directly.
Footwear: Kauvra Boots with Haunted Cookie or HP% card Footwear changed for the combo but our card options are the same.
Left Accessory: Orcus Bracer with Fighter Scaraba or Mantis A 2nd bracer does not give you the combo again, so only use a 2nd bracer if you are aware and want it for sake of being a 2 STR slotted accessory.
Right Accessory: (any other accessory with same card option) or Medal of Honor (Swordsman) If no str bonus breakpoints are affected by the 2nd accessory slot, then Medal of Honor offers 5% damage while providing accuracy bonus and some defense, striking a good balance.
Pet: Ijsbal Use a looter pet instead if you are traveling far from save points and need the carry capacity.
Note: Meteo Plate Armor also deserves mention for being enchantable and is dirt cheap while having amazing base DEF. If you are on the road to break Ur's combo, then it can be considered as well. Take off Ur's greaves only if you are ready to transition for the full Orcus combo or able to make better gears.

Bowling Bash Knight Gearset (End Game)

Top Headgear: Bone Head with King Kray Bone Head is our best offensive option for keeping the slot available.
Mid Headgear: (any 7% bonus dmg mid headgear), a defensive option, or slotted mids with Purple Ferus (any 7% bonus dmg mid headgear) or slotted mid with STR
Lower Headgear: Orcring Backpack or other backpack Orcrign Backpack is generic with 1 STR and 3 ATK which may help you reach breakpoint, or use a suitable elemental backpack.
Right Hand: Veteran Sword with Sword Guardian At this point there's no other weapon that's even close to usefulness except for some very specific situations.
Left Hand:
Armor: Purple Dragon Armor with proper elemental card Proper elemental set is more important here as rarely is there chance to use Echio. Plus, armor is generic to many other melee classes so you want to make a full suite of high refine armor for multiple element, prioritizing Bathory and Pasana before other element.
Garment: Proxy Skin Fragment with Raydric Proxy is the universal endgame garment and we still need some defensive options as we will be in melee so let's go with the standard.
Footwear: Dragon Scale Boots with Silver Acidus Technically Purple Ferus is better for 1 str, but the boots is the most flexible part of the Draconic gear set usable by any class, and Silver Acidus is the more generic option. If you have a +9 dragon scale boots, then Silver Acidus is more economical even if it's slightly less optimized for Lord Knight, and the general consensus is that DP card in DP boots make more sense than even the +9 bonus effect cards. If you got extra boots anyway then by all means, use Purple Ferus or the usual HP card options.
Left Accessory: (any accessory setup from the previous LK Bowling Bash gear set)/Power Symphony in a party setting Power Symphony should always be considered for any physical damage dealers in a party. Otherwise, use the accessories introduced earlier. Elemental Ring is also a contender any time you are using a fire weapon.
Right Accessory: Buwaya Agimat Tattoo with Fighter Scaraba or Mantis or Purple Ferus Only 1 Agimat Tattoo is allowed so this slot is fixed. The exact card option depends on your stat breakpoint.
Pet: Ijsbal Go with the usual Springbeak for ASPD or Ijsbal for ATK boost, but note that both of these 2 pets require long reputation quests to obtain: [Lutia_Reputation_Rewards
Note: Depending on your refines of your armor and boots, your STR breakpoint may shift a lot so make sure everything ends with a multiple of 10 for your final STR, and adjust if you need more Purple Ferus cards or if you can get away with other type of cards. You need a minimum of 25 for the set to be worth consideration. A +7 armor and +8 boots with 2 Purple Ferus cards get you to 25 so let that be your base line.
