Overview

TaeKwons are practitioners of the art of Taekwon-Do. They forego the use of weapons and instead specialize in various kicks. In heRO, TaeKwon specializes in being relatively easy to gear since they forego weapons and weapon cards, which may be expensive. They rely on having a strong base HP to outlast the opponent in combat while having access to single target and small AoE melee attacks while protecting the backline in a party with Flying Side Kick to get monsters' attention. Access to all elemental attacks makes them formidable, especially in dungeons with various elements. Upon reaching base level 90 or higher, they gain strength by completing Taekwon Mission to gain points. The more points you have, the more power you gain. This applies even if you are not the server's top 10 ranking TaeKwon player. Those with the top 10 points on the server enjoy even further additional bonuses.

In heRO, Taekwon's ASPD is boosted to attack faster than any other class when they are unarmed. Compared to the official game, TaeKwons in heRO has a Base Time Between Attacks (BTAB) of 0.7 instead of 0.8.

Taekwon Mission Point Bonuses

Below are noteworthy gears applicable to almost ALL classes in heRO in their default builds. Note that God Items and MVP Cards are excluded from the list.

Generic Standalone Gears

Aumdura's Grace is a great generic accessory with a slot and +1 all stats, suitable for almost any build
Boitata Armor is lightweight with a little bit of relevant stats for every build, great for making generic armor that's needed by every class such as slotting in Marc cards
Power of Thor is another good generic headgear with +1 all stats, while having a slot, but it's not as good as Ancient Gold Ornament's secondary stat boost
Tidung has niche use cases for assembling 100% status resist gears without having 100 vit
Dragon Manteau can be viewed as the upgraded Pantie/Undershirt combo. Although its drop source is difficult to hunt personally, but because it's from a popular instance where veterans will grind against, it can be purchased for much cheaper than it seems. Furthermore, it can be viewed as a generic 5 def garment for all classes with no level restrictions.
Dragon Vest combos with the Dragon Manteau for classes that can use Flee, and also has no level restrictions so it is great for leveling new/trans characters. However, standalone it has a lot less uses than Dragon Manteau.
Ancient Gold Ornament is a good headgear that provides well-rounded stats, at the cost of requiring a high base level and difficult to obtain from the Biolabs
Anarch's Reign and Order have no stats but they are decent substitute when headgear cards matter more than any headgear themselves. They can be used when slotted mid headgear are unavailable

Wings

Zodiac Stone (Zodiac Wings) is helpful for its Double Wing Effect allowing you to take advantage of powerful headgear or armor cards. This can be upgraded to Light/Dark Allegiance Gear wings which are stronger than the Zodiac Stone (Zodiac Wings) but harder to find and more restrictive as it requires allegiance.
Avian Wings

Backpacks

List of available backpacks are here. They are always usable with every class, providing additional weight and possibly getting Gift Boxes. One is given from Hero's Journey as starter, but there are additional good backpacks with further additional effect. You should take a look to see which ones are suitable for your build.

Elemental Set

Based on Elemental Ring, power is granted based on the element of your weapon. Its bonuses can be applicable even for non-combatants as long as the element of the weapon match. This is a soft-combo and you do not need all pieces except for the Elemental Ring, so pick what you need for your build and element of your weapon.

Elemental Ring has no bonus on its own but powers up the entire combo
Elemental Robe has decent MDEF and give certain elemental resistance and status resistance Elemental Cape can be used to do specific bonus physical damage to the 4 basic elements

Farming Gears

These items are not for combat, but they can enhance your efficiency of grinding for items if you can spare equipment slots for these items.

Bee Wings is a major farming item that helps gather materials used by other classes, mostly for brewing. If you can get away with wearing it as you grind, you should seriously consider it.
Easter Hat good source for old blue boxes, and the chocolates are decent healing items
Crooked Hat the chance for bloody branches are low, but if you are hoping for more MVP opportunities then the moments where Bloody Branch drop can be big
Ancient Elven Ear though quivers are only for Archer classes, there's not a lot of mid headgear slot that can produce items
Spare Card produces Spare Cards to the GM Assistant for various items, including potentially more exp
Yummy Chocolate does not stack with Easter Hat, but it's one of the few lower headgear slot that produces items besides backpacks and their Gift Boxes

Useful Support Gears
