Access to Nyddhoggur's Dungeon |
1. At Splendide, in the house at splendide 228 162, talk to Arc with your Ring of The Wise King Equipped. Offer to help him search for his friend.
2. Talk to an NPC named "????" outside the town at Splendide Field 02 (spl_fild02 44 214). The weeds are knotted by Terra, Arc's friend. They point south.
3. Talk to the knotted weeds named "????" near spl_fild02 123 106. They point east.
4. Click on the weeds named "????" at spl_fild02 330 192. They point north.
5. Talk to a spot named "????" near spl_fild02 328 322. They are footprints and are pointing north, to Splendide Field 01.
6. On Splendide Field 01, (spl_fild01 343 109), talk to a spot named "????". These other footprints lead to the root of the huge tree to the east of you.
7. Enter the Yggdrasil Dungeon east of the footprints (368, 112). You now have access to Yggdrasil Dungeon and can go in whenever you desire.
8. Inside Yggdrasil's Root, click on the Petrified Sapha near the entrance (nyd_dun01 57, 222).
9. Return to Arc, who will mention Terra returned, took some bradium and left again.
10. Go back to the Petrified Sapha at Yggdrasil's Root. After noticing some traces of bradium ore, you are prompted to visit Manuk.
11. At Manuk, talk to the Villagers near the Cat Hand Agent in the town center (manuk 278 177). They mention a Fairy came to town recently.
12. Inside the building to the far south of the villagers, talk to Snorren. Offer to interpret for him using the Ring of The Wise King.
13. Speak to Snorren again. After some conversation, you decide to head back to Arc to find out how to treat Terra's wounds.
14. Talk to Arc at Splendide, who tells you that Yggdrasil Berries are the best way to cure a Laphine's wounds (much like how they heal Midgard Fairies' wounds). He gives you 3 and informs you that you can get more at the root of the Yggdrasil Tree.
15. Obtain an Yggdrasil Berry at Splendide Field 01, near spl_fild01 356 42.
16. Obtain another Yggdrasil Berry near spl_fild01 314 78.
17. Collect the last Yggdrasil Berry from the fruit near spl_fild01 328 26.
18. Return to Snorren with the Yggdrasil Berries (Note: He will take all berries from your inventory if you have more than 6).
19. Enter the room behind Snorren and talk to the captured Laphine. She will tell you about an injured Sapha. Her captors require proof of it, so you have to return to the Yggdrasil Root.
20. Return the the Petrified Sapha at nyd_dun01. Take his Muffler and some Bradium, and return to Snorren.
21. Return to Snorren with the Muffler and Bradium. He asks you to lead him to the Petrified Sapha.
22. Return once again to the Petrified Sapha at nyd_dun01. Snorren tells you his friend Ogen is too far gone to be saved, and says his body can remain there as a statue in his honor.
23. Return to Snorren at the prison. You will obtain the following rewards:
- 15 Manuk Coins
- 1 Small Enriched Elunium Box
- 1 Small Enriched Oridecon Box
- 1 Alfheim Schematics
24. Return to Arc, who will ask you to meet him at Terra's Home in splendide 285 139.
25. Talk to Terra. You will obtain 25 Splendide Coins, 6,000,000 Base Experience, and 5,000,000 Job Experience. This marks the end of this quest.
