What's Coming Next?

We want to share with all players what's coming next and why development got stagnant again. However, work has been a bit busy, and I (GM-Ayu) haven't got to write an entry in our GM Developer Blog yet. We hope to add our first entry there this weekend and showcase why our Test&Dev team has been relatively silent lately and what the GM team has been working on, especially with the addition of GM-Flutrane and GM-Abathur rejoining the team as well. We've updated the list of known bugs in the meantime. We'll be laying low and freeze updates until we can make a push for one of the most important and necessary updates for heRO. We apologize in advance for pausing small patch releases and small bugfixes in the meantime.

April Holidays

Thank you for those who were being a good sport about our small April Fools joke. Seems like we've trapped 45 characters on April 1st. The Fool's Costume is still available in "Past Holiday Gear Box" for those who missed it but want the costume (note: this is the same costume every April Fools day).

St Patrick's Day and Easter quest will remain on the server until April 14th. GMs will take it down any time without notice on or after April 14th. Be sure to do the quest before the end date!

Free Decard Compensation for Constant Card

It's been reported that the Constant Card was given an unfair stealth change. Upon verification in changelog announcements, it was indeed missing in the announcements as part of a bugfix on the Jan 16th release. Originally, the card's effect and the card item description did not match, so on Jan 16th, we reworked the card again where Constant Card provided so crit rate and crit bonus damage to work with Gunslinger's customized Piercing Shot in the heRO server. We apologize for this mistake.

We are offering a free decard option yet again for Constant card: please submit a ticket (not a Discord DM) before April 30th, and GMs will offer to decard your Constant card from any weapons. After April 30th, any unreported weapons with Constant card will not be given a free decard due to this change.

Bugfixes

• Fixed a bug where Venom Dust still required Red Gemstone as a catalyst
• Fixed a bug where Constant Card didn't apply its bonus to the right type of guns

April 6 bugfix

• Fixed an issue where Piercing Crescendo does nothing

Known Issues

• Peco characters need to dismount to spend skill points
• Platinum skills can get removed upon trans and levelling up again. If this happens, contact a GM to fix it for you.
• Some items that have a card slot doesn't show its card even though it can be carded. This is typically for items with item ID specifically in the 10001-12999 ID range.
• Costume brokk's Steelcap's item description is messed up
• Ring of the Flame Lord and Ring of Resonance improperly list that it can be equipped by extended classes, even though it should be upper trans-only (trans 2-1 and trans 2-2)
• Safeguard is still named Slow Poison
• Left-Hand Mastery and Right-Hand Mastery's in-game skill description is not yet updated
• Extended classes and Homunculus do not have heRO's custom updated in-game skills description that is actually accurate (regardless if the skills are customized or not)
• Meteor Assault's in-game skill description is not yet updated
• Union of the Sun, Moon and Stars can only be used with the list view of the skill list instead of the tree list
